From cleaner to founder — Dipok's story
I came to Finland as an immigrant with a simple goal: to work hard and build something of my own. I started by working as a cleaner myself — learning the job from the ground up, in other people's homes, on my hands and knees. Over the years I noticed that most cleaning companies treated their work as just a transaction. Show up, clean, leave. No relationship, no accountability. Customers never knew who was coming and quality was inconsistent. In 2023 I founded Sarker Siivous. The idea was simple: a cleaning service where every customer gets the same cleaner every time, where I stay personally involved in quality, and where we treat every home with the same care we'd want for our own.

In 2022 I took the leap and registered my own business — starting as a sole trader (toiminimi). As the work grew and more families trusted us with their homes, I made the decision to grow properly. In 2023 I converted to a limited company, Sarker Siivous Oy. Today we're a small, dedicated team serving families across the capital region — and I still personally follow up with every new customer.

Founder & Owner
Dipok has worked in the cleaning industry since 2011 — starting as a cleaner and team leader at SOL Palvelut Oy, one of Finland's largest cleaning companies. He holds a professional qualification in cleaning and facility services (Puhtaus- ja kiinteistöpalvelualan erikoisammattitutkinto). In 2022 he started Sarker Siivous as a sole trader, converting to a limited company in 2023 as the business grew. He speaks Finnish, English, Bengali and Hindi.
